About this event

❤️ FLIPSIDE SUMMER SHOWCASE WELLINGTON - CARS WITH CAUSE! ❤️ This summer, we're bringing the car community together for something bigger than cars. We're proud to support Starship Children’s Hospital, New Zealand's national children's hospital, providing specialist medical and surgical care for children and young people from across New Zealand and South Pacific. Every child deserves the best chance at a brighter, healthier future, and we want to do our part to help make that happen. Join us for an awesome afternoon of incredible cars, good people, great vibes and giving back! We're calling on local businesses, sponsors and anyone who would love to get behind this cause to help us make this event special. Whether it's a donation, a voucher, merchandise or simply spreading the word, every bit of support makes a difference. 📍 Arise Centre, Petone, Wellington 📅 Saturday 7 November | 11am-2pm Let's show what the car community can do when we come together for the kids 🩵 FLIPSIDE SUMMER SHOWCASE - CARS, COMMUNITY. Event Safety

Stay safe on the road and at the venue — a quick guide for every attendee.

Travelling To the Event

Before setting off, ensure your vehicle is roadworthy — check tyre pressure, oil and coolant levels. Plan your route in advance and share it with someone at home. Fuel up before you join convoy traffic, and arrive with plenty of time to spare so you're not rushing.

During the Event

Respect the venue and follow all instructions from event organisers and marshals. Keep to designated areas, supervise children at all times, and never touch vehicles without the owner's permission. Adhere to speed limits within the venue and watch for pedestrians.

Travelling From the Event

When leaving, take it easy — fatigue is a real risk after a long day in the sun. Stick to the speed limit, maintain safe following distances, and avoid showboating on public roads. Ensure all passengers are buckled up before you depart, and take regular breaks on long drives home.
