Welcome to What's Revving This Weekend. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website and mobile application. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using What's Revving This Weekend ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
What's Revving This Weekend is a community platform for discovering and sharing automotive events across Australia and New Zealand, including car shows, track days, car meets, cruises, and other motoring events. The App also offers an optional paid membership (MY WRTW), a family-friendly KidZone section, optional motoring competitions, and tools for event organisers.
3. User Accounts
To submit events or access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering.
4. Event Submissions
Users may submit automotive events for listing on the App. By submitting an event, you confirm that: • The information provided is accurate and up to date. • You have the authority to list the event. • The event complies with our Event Submission Policy. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove any event listing at our discretion. Event submissions are subject to review before being published.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to: • Post false, misleading, or inaccurate event information. • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users. • Submit spam, duplicate events, or irrelevant content. • Abuse the emoji reaction system, including coordinated or automated reaction manipulation. • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App. • Use the App for any unlawful purpose. Violations may result in account suspension or termination. See our Inappropriate Conduct Policy for full details.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, logos, and design elements of What's Revving This Weekend are the property of Big Red V8 GT and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
7. User-Generated Content
By submitting content (including event listings, comments, images, garage vehicles, and emoji reactions) to the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our services. You retain ownership of your content but represent that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of event listings. Event details (dates, times, locations, entry fees) are submitted by users and organisers and may change without notice. Always verify event details directly with the organiser before attending.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, What's Revving This Weekend and Big Red V8 GT shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to reliance on event information, attendance at events, or interactions with other users.
10. Third-Party Links
The App may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of those external sites and do not endorse them.
11. Communications & Notifications
By creating an account or subscribing to our newsletter, you may receive email communications, push notifications, and in-app notifications about automotive events and app updates. You can manage your preferences or unsubscribe at any time from the Email Preferences page, via the secure link in each email, or through your device settings.
12. MY WRTW Membership
MY WRTW is an optional paid membership that unlocks premium features. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Full terms, including pricing, billing, cancellation, and refunds, are set out in the MY WRTW Membership Terms, which form part of these Terms of Use.
13. WRMCC Community Benefit
Eligible members of the WRTW Motoring Community Chat (WRMCC) may claim a discounted MY WRTW membership as a community benefit. Eligibility is verified by an administrator based on information you provide. WRTW reserves the right to approve or decline benefit claims at its discretion.
14. KidZone
KidZone is a family-friendly section of the app that does not require an account. It is provided for entertainment and educational purposes. Activity in KidZone is tracked anonymously and cannot be linked to an individual child. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children's use of KidZone.
15. Competitions
WRTW runs optional motoring competitions, including the Pride & Joy and Organiser categories. Competitions are administered by WRTW and are governed by the separate WRTW Competition Terms & Conditions, available at whatsrevvingthisweekend.com/competition-terms. By entering any WRTW competition, you agree to be bound by the Competition Terms applicable to that round, in addition to these Terms of Use. Competition entries are subject to eligibility verification, reaction-count verification, and the Promoter's published decisions. Manipulating reactions, submitting misleading entries, or breaching the Competition Terms may result in disqualification and moderation action under our Inappropriate Conduct & User Banning Policy.
16. @Tag Mentions
Registered users can mention other users using @Tags in comments and event shares. Mentions generate an in-app notification to the mentioned user. You agree not to use @Tags to harass, spam, or impersonate others. Misuse may result in restriction of mentioning privileges.
17. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
18. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Any disputes arising from use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
